Our Story

Incenses have been used for over 6,000 years, but it was in the early 1900’s is when modern incense sticks were first created by infusing incense into a paste and rolling around a bamboo stick, allowing people to access the power of incenses in a new convenient form. Incense sticks are today commonly used and burned around the world to enhance meditation, clear negativity, welcome in positive energy, make rooms and buildings smell better, and create an atmosphere of relaxation, balance and wellbeing.

As incense sticks have increased in popularity, unfortunately so has the presence of charcoal and other bulking or cost-reducing ingredients. That is where we come in. After supplying incenses for over 10 years, we saw the need for affordable, high quality incense sticks and New Moon Aromas was born, featuring quality natural ingredients, ethically rolled by hand, and delivering a wide range of aroma and blend options to suit the unique and varied tastes of people today.
